Fat burning food recipes - Spicy eggs on whole-wheat toast

This recipe is one of my breakfast staples and I make it all the time. The tomato and chili salsa turns ordinary eggs on toast into an extraordinary dish.

Serves: 2 Number of fat burning foods: 5 (tomatoes, chili, avo oil, eggs and whole-wheat toast) Calories per serving:355 Fat per serving:20

Ingredients:

1 onion, peeled and chopped 2 tomatoes, sliced 1 small chili, deseeded and chopped 2 table spoons avocado oil 2 large eggs 2 slices of whole-wheat toast Salt and pepper to season

Instructions:

Heat the avocado oil (1 table spoon) in a pan and fry the onion and chili until soft, add the tomatoes and lightly fry it. Lower the heat and let it simmer. In another pan heat the remaining avocado oil and add the eggs, cook until desired consistency. When the eggs are almost done, toast the whole-wheat bread. Add the tomatoes mixture onto one slice of the toast and top with one egg. Finish it off with a light sprinkle of salt and pepper.
